We met up with a group of friends at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo on Saturday morning. All have kids around the same age as Asher so it was fun to see the kids' faces and reactions at the animals. Asher definitely enjoyed the animals...especially the giraffes and the hens and goats at the petting zoo.

Avery and Asher loved the furry wolf almost as much as any real animals...even though Asher's face doesn't show that here.
"Petting" the goat...which actually meant he grabbed onto his horns and pulled really hard which freaked the goat out and made him run away. Yep, that's my boy.

For some reason Ash fell in love with this leaf and would not put it down...hey, whatever keeps him happy!

great pictures! Asher is getting cuter and cuter (I didn't think he could get any cuter but, ummm...yup...every time a new picture comes along...there he is cute as a button)!
