It doesn't seem possible that 6 months, 1/2 a year, has already passed since Ireland and Elias entered our lives. Little did I know how much things would change and how much work two babies would be. I still don't feel like my life has reached a new "normal" yet...we're getting closer but aren't there yet. Some days are really good and some days are really hard. They're still not sleeping through the night (well, to be fair, Ireland isn't sleeping through the night so she wakes Elias up with her crying. Awesome.) so that kinda puts a damper on things. I'm (We're) tired and ready for a full night's sleep. But, I wouldn't trade the exhaustion for the joy these two little lives bring to our family. We do not take the blessings we've been given lightly. Our hearts are extremely thankful.
